Overview

• All hard drives, before going to university surplus, must have the data wiped.
• It is the departments responsibility to destroy all data on the drives.
• Contact CHE IT Support (preferably a week or two before surplus arrives) to arrange a time.
• Alternately you can download the program, Derik Boot And Nuke (DBAN), this utility will destroy all data on a hard drive.
