Dr. Terry Ring

Professor Terry Ring was presented the Student Choice Teaching Award on April 22, 2009 at a celebration held at the Alumni House. Students nominated their professors with a short essay, and then a committee of students reviewed the nominations and chose ten winners. The criteria used to assess the essays were dependability, access to students, class performance, personal experience, teaching style and motivation.

The Student Choice Teaching Awards are a way for students to honor outstanding professors at the University of Utah. The awards represent a unique honor in that they are completely student driven. Congratulations to Dr. Ring for his dedication to students and the University of Utah.
