<p>Background:<br />
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting process control solutions across the business’s manufacturing operations. They will be naturally curious and committed to solving real-world problems.  This role also includes development of process systems for use in our research facilities.  The successful candidate will work closely with mill personnel, corporate teams, and/or technology providers to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions in support of business and operational goals. This position requires 30-40% travel.</p>

This position is a Project Engineer in the Wood Products Technology Unit within the Weyerhaeuser Technology organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and managing multiple research and development projects in lumber drying as well as providing technical and troubleshooting support to energy systems operations at wood products manufacturing sites.</p>
