Western Research Institute: Lead Scientist Position

Western Research Institute is seeking a Lead Scientist to design and conduct laboratory experiments related to changes in properties of petroleum and asphalt with treatments. Work includes design and assembly of experimental apparatus, operation of analytical equipment, performance of chemical and physical tests, task
management and preparation of work plans, proposals, reports and presentations for government and commercial clients. Candidate must be a goal-oriented team player with a Ph.D. and 2-5 years experience in chemistry or chemical engineering, or equivalent experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Position requires flexibility on job assignments and ability to multi-task.
