The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in cooperation with the National Research
Council, conduct each year a competition for postdoctoral research associateships. The program
provides the opportunity for postdoctoral scientists and engineers to carry out research, largely of their own choice, that is compatible with the interest of selected professional laboratory staff at NIST. Prospective candidates, interested in conducting experimental, analytical, and computational research are sought in the research area: Aerosol Particle Characterization and Heat Transfer.
