ChemE Request for Wired Access

Contract

You must agree to all of the following by placing a check next to each statement.

ASSIGNED DESK. *

Your items must be kept within your assigned area. Any changes must be formally requested via email to the Graduate Advisor.

Conference Room. *

The conference room must be reserved prior to use. Please contact the ChE main office for reservations.

Food. *

All food must be stored properly in closed containers or fully sealed bags. Any food improperly stored during routine checks will be disposed of.

Cleanliness. *

You are expected to maintain your assigned area clean. Any common areas used must also be maintained clean.

Restricted Items. *

Skateboards, Bicycles, Scooters, Lab Chemicals, and any other obstructions to common areas.

Key Access. *

You will need your UCard to gain access to the main doors. All desks come with keys to the pedestal drawers which must be returned at the completion of this contract. Failure to do so will result in a fee. DO NOT LEND OUT YOUR UCARD!

Noise. *

Please be mindful of others around you and keep noise to a minimum.

Entrance / Exit Doors. *

The alarm will sound if any of the main doors are left open for longer than 2 minutes. Please ensure the doors close properly behind you.

Guests. *

The 4th floor is intended for the use of ChE graduate students only. Guests must be approved by the department. Requests must be sent to the Graduate Advisor.

Routine Checks. *

The ChE department will conduct routine checks to ensure that the 4th floor space is being used properly. Any violations to this contract will be formally addressed.

Notice for Removal. *

Violations to this contract will result in a written warning. A third warning will result in your removal from the area.

• We are also tying the machine to the switch port. If you move your computer and plug it into a different port it will shutdown the port.
