Requirements
Students intending to complete the requirements for a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering must be admitted to major status. They must complete and achieve an overall GPA of 2.5 and no less than a C- in Numerical Methods Applications in Chemical Engineering (CH EN 2450), Fundamentals of Process Engineering (CH EN 2800), and Thermodynamics I (CH EN 2300).
The information from this form will be sent to an academic advisor in the Chemical Engineering Department. The academic advisor will review and verify the submitted information and respond to you electronically. This process usually takes two to three business days. You must have grades posted in the three required classes to be processed.
Students who are NOT intermediate status in Chemical Engineering must meet with an advisor before they are admitted to Major Status.
