The following is the schedule for the Fall 2012 Graduate Seminar.

To encourage faculty-student interaction and expose graduate students to diverse aspects of Chemical Engineering, all second year and beyond graduate students must enroll in Graduate Seminars (CH EN 7857 in the fall and CH EN 7859 in the spring) each semester that they are enrolled. Your attendance is compulsory for all fall and spring semesters that you are a continuing graduate student, regardless of the number of credit hours you have already accumulated. The fall slate of ten lectures is attached.

Attendance is compulsory for all Chemical Engineering Graduate students who are enrolled and who have already taken CH EN 7753/7755 Intro to Research. In the fall, the student is obliged to attend 8 out of the 10 seminars and submit a one page typed synopsis/critique at the start of the following seminar. A similar attendance record will be prescribed for the spring.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact John McLennan or the Graduate Students Adviser.
