Safety for students, faculty and staff is a priority for the University of Utah and the College of Engineering.
We invite you to go to the university’s SafeU program website to learn more about tips and resources available that can help you stay safe while on campus.
The site is divided into two sections: How to report an incident that threatens your safety, and a list of resources available for safety programs, training and counseling.
The site covers tips on reporting crimes including sexual assault or misconduct, violent attacks, bias incidents, property theft, housing and lighting issues, and environmental hazards, among others. Meanwhile, it also lists available resources for mental health counseling, victim-survivor advocacy, and more.
