The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Utah invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor. Exceptional candidates will also be considered at associate or full professor ranks, commensurate with experience. Successful candidates are expected to develop dynamic, externally funded research programs that lead to national and international recognition, and to demonstrate excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
We seek the best available candidates with research strengths focusing in the broad areas of energy-related research (especially sustainable/renewable energy), the interface between chemical engineering and medicine, and semiconductor materials, processing or applications. Candidates with research focused on theoretical, computational, and/or experimental aspects of these fields are all welcomed.
